The Republic of Ghana is located along the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean, in the sub-region of West Africa. Ghana has a population of approximately 27 million, spanning a number of ethnic, linguistic and religious groups.

Democratic model for political and economic reform

Ghana was the first Black African nation to achieve independence from a colonial power (Britain). Ghana was ranked in the top three in Africa for freedom of the press and freedom of speech.

Rapid economic growth

Ghana's growing economic prosperity and democratic political system has made it a regional power in West Africa. Economic growth rate is targeted above 8.0% per annum. Ghana was chosen as the "Best Place for Doing Business in the Economy Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Region" in the 2016 World Bank Doing Business Report.

Nunya Farms is developing and operating multiple extensive farmlands in Ghana.


Kete-Krachi

Kete-Krachi is a town in the Krachi West District of the Volta Region of Ghana. Our farmland in Kete-Krachi is located right next to the Volta Lake, the largest man-made lake in the world. The Krachi area is considered a bread basket area of Ghana.

Fertile Soil

The Kete-Krachi area has very fertile farm lands which is ideal for commercial agriculture.

Water Resource

The proximity to the Volta Lake enables us to use it as an important source of water for irrigation, enhancing the productivity of our farming

Development and Production

Nunya Farms has developed over 1,000 acres to produce groundnuts in the 2016 farm season. We plan to scale up our groundnut and soy cultivation at Kete Krachi to close to 5,000 acres by the end of 2017.

Asesewa

Nunya Farms is developing 5,000 acres of farmland in Akotue which is near Asesewa in the Eastern region of Ghana. Our farmland is very close to the Volta Lake which makes it an ideal location to utilize irrigation. The planned crops for this location are maize and soyabean.
